China has become a major player in the international tire industry and is playing a great role in the global tire industry. Both the output and the exported quantity of tires already hold the leading position in the world. But in recent years as the raw material price increases, national macro-policy constraints as well as foreign trade friction and increased technical barriers, especially impact of the “Special Protectionist Tariffs” in 2009, tire industry is facing a tougher situation. And it is foreseeable that more and more barriers to trade will affect the tire industry.
